Fall Fun!

Got dress up for the Sterling Heights Childrens Halloween Party.

We try to practice Trick or Treating with our candy buckets. Found some leaves to play with!

Just felt like we had their 1st birthday and here we are almost at the half year mark. I can believe the changes they have made in the past 4 months. From walking, talking, favorite movie Cars and figuring out shape puzzles. They are up to 7 teeth each and Lance has had another hair cut. They love to dance and Layla loves to do the motions to Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, and Patty Cake. Lance loves to walk around outside and of course play with the ball. He stands at the door wall saying "side, side". Favorite toys right now: Blocks, cups, balls, shape sorter, ball popper and cars. We watch Cars atleast 2 times a day. Lance actually says "Mcqueen" and Layla always points and says "car, car". Layla knows the sounds of a doggy, piggy (does the face to match), and lion. They are starting to become picky about what they eat, some favorites are bananas, raisins, cheesy tots, nuggets, and pizza! Still a 6 lbs difference. Layla is in a size 9 months and Lance is in 18 months. Here are the words they are saying:

Happy Fall!

September already?? I don't even remember summer starting! That means fall clothes shopping. Now that they are walking we had to officially get their feet measured. Lance is now a size 5 EXTRA WIDE! He must have his Papa's feet. Lady at the store called them Fred Flinstone feet...lol! We made another trip to the zoo and going to go to the Peach Festival this weekend. We baby proofed some more in the kitchen and letting them roam. They think their big stuff now! Here are some recent pictures:

Happy 15 Months!

Lance & Layla are now 15 months and officially walking!! They are so cute wobbling all over the place. We took our first trip and went to Chicago with the kids. They were stir crazy and started to walk as soon as we got home. We went for their check up and here are their weights:

Lance : 25.2 lbs
Layla: 18.8 lbs

They are just growing right along with Layla on the smaller side and Lance just normal.

We are back!!

Ok, so its tough to update this blog and my facebook while chasing twins around so here is an update since the last time I posted.

Lance & Layla have been very busy this summer. They are learning and talking up a storm. Fun words include: Momma, Dadda, papa, whats that?, ball, baba, car, night night, sponge bob?. Some fun things they are doing include waving bye bye; they know their fingers, toes, nose etc; hold their own bottles; so big, peak-a-boo, clapping, spapping fingers, blowing kisses, high fives. Some NOT so fun things include climbing on the couch and grabbing at everything they are not suppose to!

Lance got his first hair cut and was such a big boy!

We have had to rearrange our furniture and baby proof the house. They both are taking steps and Lance is up to about 10 when he really wants to. I have a feeling that in about a month these two will be running. Our lives are about to get EVEN busier!
